He stood at the door and heard her yell from inside. He smiled and waited for her to get to the door. She busted through the door knocking him back a bit. He laughed. “Okay chere, needed ta leave did ya?” He grinned and stuffed his hands in his pockets as they walked together to the car.
“Not quite de pick up ya said… but I think de hood’ll work jus fine.” HE said opening her door and moving over to his side. “Just toss ya back in de back seat s’what i did wit my stuff.” He climbed in and started the silver Delorean. God I love dat sound.
“So whatve ya been up to witout me an de Brotherhood chere? S’been awhile since we had a good talk.” He said after she threw her bag in and they had gotten on the road. “An de place Ive picked out is a ways away, but its a nice big wide open field. Should be amazin.” He grinned at her.
“Darlin’ are we goin’ to see the stars or are we going to the 80’s to hook up your parents?” Roxanne asked with a laugh as she threw her bag behind her seat before sliding into the passenger seat herself. She could feel the power of the engine as Nick started the car and caught him smiling at the sound.
“I’ve been looking here and there for something to do. Remember that bar a few blocks away from the Complex? Well the bartender offered me some work there if I ever get bored. Apparently me throwin’ darts a hair above obnoxious patron’s heads is a crowd pleaser and makes all the guys buy drinks to keep on my good side.”
